Catalyst Systems has announced release of its application build management
tool, Openmake 6.3. The primary goal of Openmake is to remove the requirement
for developers to perform any scripting at all--no makefiles, no XML scripting
for Ant, and no special Java classes are needed to perform builds within
the IDE or externally by a build master. The new version includes a plug-in
for the Eclipse IDE; the ability to dynamically generate Ant build scripts
at build time; and integration with Visual Studio .NET. Catalyst Systems

Certicom has introduced Security Builder Crypto-C#, a cryptographic developer
toolkit for the Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework. Security
Builder Crypto-C# lets you port most crypto algorithms, including Elliptic
Curve Cryptography (ECC), from their desktop .NET Framework-based applications
to Windows CE.NET. Functionality is provided through a standard Microsoft
Visual C# .NET API. Security Builder Crypto-C# is optimized for resource
constrained devices and includes standards based ECC implementations offering
small key sizes with a high strength-per-bit. Certicom 1810 Gateway Drive,

Evolution Robotics is shipping ERSP 3.0 and the ERSP Scorpion robot, a
robotic development platform for creating robotics products or adding
autonomous robotic functionality to existing products. Enhancements include
the vSLAM autonomous navigation functionality, allowing robotic devices
to move safely and freely in any environment with full knowledge of their
location and programmed destination; improved APIs providing deeper access
to the vision algorithm that drives object recognition and much of the
navigation components; improved documentation; and upgraded graphical
development tools.<>
